and I'm back...shoe help

So maybe it's because of the new year or just feeling happy in my place in life or maybe it's something I'm not tapped in to yet, but for whatever reason after my post yesterday I got this urge to post more and post more and get involved in my blogging once again. I do love it. I love the community, I love the sharing, I love the reading and readers....soooo, I'm back. Not sure yet what the blog will become for me but right now I'm just going to use it to share what I feel like sharing.

Yesterday it was for sharing my new blog! www.emilyssidewalktalk.blogspot.com and today its to share these AMAZING shoes I stumbled across and to say I can't decide which ones to buy?!?!?! They are so freakin fabulous and would love to have both but alas the $165 price tag warrants only one pair.

runs much smoother when I don't write about it here. I have been trying to figure out why that is and I think its because I am a very "in the moment" kind of person. I've never kept a journal for more than a month because I don't enjoy going back and reading about what I was doing or thinking or feeling in such detail. Of course I remember but for me my written word holds a lot of meaning and when I reread my own words I am totally taken back to those moments and most are too intense, ie reading about the ending of my last relationship. I've decided I prefer to keep them just as memories in my mind.

So, this is to say I won't begin posting regularly again...probably ever. Just know I am happy, healthy, and loving life...now in San Francisco! Oh, and that I still come on here every other day or so to read the posts of people I follow.

After reading through some of my posts from last year and the horribleness that was 2009 I decided to remove every entry from last year...there was nothing there I wanted to have available for further viewing/reading/commenting.

Am I really starting this?? Well.....obviously. I guess I've toyed around with the idea of my own blog/ online journal for a long time. Why? I don't really know. I was never a physical journal kinda person, you know, like having diary or whatever. I'd get one and start it and then realize 3 years had gone by without a second entry, oops, ha. I don't plan for this to be like that however.
I really just need a place to put my thoughts and ideas, as well as a place I can make and monitor goals for myself and my life. A huge one is weight loss and I figured having it open for everyone to see and read about will keep me on track and honest with myself. I also feel inspired by a lot of things, people, images and I've never had a place to write about them so this will serve that purpose as well. And anything else that comes up I guess!
We shall see what I make of Emily Online :)
